Haitian Epis

I know it’s super random to see a food recipe on a hair salon’s website! Because of COVID-19, my husband and I decided to stay home instead of going to see family so we can stay safe. We ordered food for Thanksgiving at a restaurant we’ve ordered from before and not going to lie, it wasn’t that great. It tasted like resentment! I could taste that the cooks did not want to work that day and I don’t blame them! Because of this, I decided to cook on Christmas for the first time ever and to document it for my Instagram and Facebook followers in my stories.

A lot of them wanted the full recipes of what I made! I have to first start with the main ingredient that is used often in Haitian recipes which is Epis, a seasoning base. There are tons of different variations of Haitian Epis and this is my grandmother’s version!
