Founded in Montreal in 2011 and launched in NYC in 2018 by owner Weena Jerome-Alexandre, as a solopreneur who saw the lack of professional, caring options for women who had curly, coily and kinky hair textures.
Since its creation under Weena’s leadership, Renaissance Curls has grown into a salon that blends hair care, education, and media hub dedicated to coily and curly hair. -
